On theme with favorite movies. There's some quotes that have been profound in my life. Not just "hey that was a cool line" or "that was hilliarous", but really profound. That isn't to say the movie was profound or even all that good, but the quote struck a cord in me. Here's a few... I'll throw out the quotes, you can guess where they came from.
"Every man dies. Not ever man truly lives."
(re: Despair) "So do all people of good heart who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. They have only to decide what to do with the time that is given to them."
Boy: "Well I reckon they had it coming."
Man: "We all have it coming, kid. Hell of a thing to kill a man. You take all he's got... and everything he'll every have."
"Do or do not! There is no try."
Boy: It's because you have this spot that you can't see past. My grams and gramps had it, the spot where they thought they were disconnected from everything.
Woman: So that's what they'd see if they could? That they're really connected?
Boy: And how beautiful they really are. And that there's no need to hide, or lie. And that it's posible to talk to someone without any lies, with no sarcasms, no deceptions, no exaggerations or any of the things that people use to confuse the truth.
