Abandoned by her human mother just after her birth, Tymmarah somehow survived the long days until she was found by the members of her new family... the other children who had been left in the dark border woods to die.

She was raised by the older children, as were the other infants who were abandoned by their human or elven mothers, until she was old enough to become a useful part of the community.

Tymmarah, unlike the other children, was not content to be a highway robber. She knew her niche and exploited it, causing fear among even her friends. She was a hunter... and a damned good one. She was a killer, with no remorse for the beast - human or animal - that fell to her.

The Imperial scouts saw the beauty in the skill of this particular half elf and made certain to collect her in the next group of Wood Children they harvested for the greater good of the Empire.

Tymmarah was adopted into the family of a high ranking ambassador and taught all the things she would need to hone her natural skills. She was a masterpiece in the eyes of the Empire - a young woman, easily either human or elf, with the skills to gain whatever information she chose and have vanished before the blood she'd spilt could grow cold.

The Kaaryok - a beautiful creature with no conscience and no soul - was born into the world... and, after only a few years, unleashed on the unsuspecting city of Greyhawk.

Her adopted family - high ranking military and government officials - were proud of their daughter's accomplishments and, as long as she performed her duties, allowed her every bit of freedom she desired.

That was how she stumbled into the company of a young cavalier who would, for his own reasons, turn her world upside down.

The longer she worked with the man and his annoying elven friend, the more like them she became. She allowed her opinions - and, more importantly, her instincts - to be contaminated by their views. She found herself bowing to the demands his code of honor forced on her.

Her own code of honor, one which would not alter regardless of influence, began to mutate into something she sometimes finds completely unrecognizable... something that is far less Kaaryok and far more Einar than she could ever have imagined. She is still a hunter... and still a damned good one... and she still hunts for the pleasure she gains from the kill...

But she does not hunt for the empire... nor does she hunt for the price that might be on one's head...

She has been known, on occasion, to hunt for some specific reason... but it is always a reason that can find it's justification in the code that has come to overshadow the one taught to her by the empire.

To hear Einar speak of her transformation, he says that she has learned to be honorable... but to Tymmarah, the Kaaryok, she is merely adapting, just as she has always done...
