Born in the town of Palm Springs California to his father wealthy L.A. nightclub owner and mother Interior Decorator to the stars, Joshua Bradford Forester would soon find that his life was about much more than gold cards and fast cars. Growing up in a family who seemed to care less about him than they did about what designer was going to what party, with whom life became a game of bought love and paid for affection. With no time for parental duties his parents found it more convenient to let someone else do the hard work. This is why at the age of 13 Joshua was sent off to "Gain the best education money could buy."
Now living away from his family Josh began to do his own social climbing. As time went on he soon became one of the most popular young men in the school.
With hair the color of midnight, and those eyes the color of the sea after a storm that seemed to look right into your very soul no wonder all the girls flocked to him.
The guys on the other hand followed him to the ends in hopes that just being around him might increase their popularity and social status.
He seemed to have everything looks, charm, money, but what no one knew is that all he really wanted was to be a normal person with a normal life. Parents who cared enough to visit instead of just sending money to buy him off.
Josh soon started to withdraw from the crowd of people that called themselves his friends and to wallow in a pit of despair and self-pity. But it would not be long until his seemingly meaningless life would change forever.
On a weekend pass for the Halloween Josh decided to drive into town and see what he could find to get into. He had heard of a new club that was opening and hoped that he could find a release. No one would know him and he might find a few hours peace and might even have a little fun, but as he walked in the door he realized that all hope was lost when a large man in an Italian suit approached him.
"Your Josh Forester aren't you?" said the hulking man as he made his way across the dance floor.
"Yes I am, who wants to know?" he replied.
The gentleman asked Josh to follow him because there was someone who would like to see him.
Who could it be? No one knew he was going out tonight, and no one on this side of town knew him that he knew of, but as he rounded the corner it all became clear. The office door read Drake M. Forester. His heart sank as the large man knocked on the door.
"Come in" came a voice from the other side of the door.
"Your son to see you sir." Said the man.
"Please show him in, and thank you Rodney," said the man sitting behind the desk.
"Hello dad when did you open this club? It seems to be a little shabby for you. Not all the Glamour of all the others."
"Well I thought that I night try my hand at a club for the younger crowed, needed to expand my cliental. Did you get the Birthday present that your mother and I sent?"
"Yea, the Cuda is great but you could have at least came to go to dinner with me or something."
"Well we are very busy people, you know with the club opening and all"
Just then Josh heard a sound that seemed to come from behind his father. Looking over his fathers shoulder Josh saw a sight that will be forever etched into his memory. Through the two-way mirror he heard the screams, and saw the carnage of people being ripped apart by these things that he knew in his soul could not be human. Backing away his father shook his head.
"You will never understand the world of big business will you son?" came the words from the man behind the desk.
"What the hell is going on?" Screamed Josh.
"Just the weekly feed of some of my best paying clients." He retorted. "You should have stayed in school this weekend son. I am just glad that Rodney spotted you before the party really started. God knows what might have happened to you out there."
Josh ran from the door hoping that he could find a door to this den of evil before he was spotted by one of those THINGS, but the screaming had stopped and things seemed quiet... too quiet.
As he reached his car and roared out of the club parking lot all he could think of was the monster that he once called father would pay for what he had done to those people, and that the girls that were pulling in, in the red convertible were in for a shock when they entered the club.
" I hope their safe, it seemed to be over for now," he thought
But will it ever be over????????????????????????????????????????
